Raw Arizona Petrified Rainbow Wood

Petrified Rainbow Wood found in the Arizona region is made up of almost solid quartz. Often referred to as rainbow wood, much of the petrified wood from Arizona comes in very vibrant red, orange, yellow and purple hues. The rainbow of colors is produced by impurities in the quartz, such as iron, carbon, and manganese.
